I am Brenda Thompson and I have been lucky enough to call Halifax County, North Carolina my home for almost 35 years.  

I grew up in northern Virginia.  I still love visiting  family and sightseeing , but I am glad to call Lake Gaston HOME!  My husband and I live in the South East Quadrant on the lake.  We built our home here after owning the lot for a time.   After hanging the swing at the boathouse I told my husband "This is what is is all about."    After work I get to go home and be on vacation.  It's a tough job but someone has to do it.

I have been licensed as a Realtor since 1998.  I have licenses in North Carolina and Virginia.   I can show you any property on Lake Gaston.  I have furthered my real estate agent education by receiving my Seniors Real Estate Specialist Designation.  I am also on The Lake Gaston Roanoke Valley Board of Realtors as a director.  

My husband and I are enjoying the empty nest.   We look forward to visits  with children and one grandchild. Cooking and boat riding are some of my favorites things to do.  I love to visit friends by boat.  Sometimes we gather to watch the sunset or just go for an evening cruise.  I truly lived a blessed life.
